Fits three across!, April 23, 2015

    Verified Hold(What’s this?)
With a 3 year ancient and 12 month ancient twins, our family tree had to choose between a minivan and our first home. We chose the household, but were left wondering how much longer we’d be able to cram everyone into our 2007 Honda Accord, as it was pretty stuffed already and the twins would outgrow their baby cars eats quickly. Satefy 1st to the rescue! They fit! I have been searching for months and finally chose to try these, as the price was reasonable and they are advertised as compact. They are comfortable for both my smaller and larger toddlers and everyone is much more pleased. We are very satisfied with this seat!

There is excellent and terrible….. But overall excellent seat!, July 7, 2015
    C. Gabriel (Cali) –

I am a pretty huge car seat mom…. I have to do whats best for my small ones, and if I don’t I kind of feel guilty! So buying this seat was a huge step for me since it was a lower end seat for a lower price. I have seen this seat in Walmart and Babies R Us. I tired the seat in the hubs truck before I bought it and tried a few different seats because Hubs truck is kind of small and our 41lb 3 yr ancient is already forward facing and is using the Graco Nautilus and I like this seat. In my car we have the Graco 4ever’s LOVE these seats but not the price tags. So we started looking in the lower price range and came across this seat. At first I liked the padding in the seat. There is no weight range for the body pillows so as soon as the child can sit in the seat properly without the pillows would be a fantastic time to take them out. The seat is pretty wide even with it being small. It goes three across sooooo easily! Which is a bonus in the Hubs truck. This seat is NOT intended for newborns. Even though the seat states 5lbs. There is no way for an newborn to fit the straps below their shoulders. This is but a fantastic seat for a infant moving out of their infant seat to a huge kid seat. The cover is sooo simple to take off to clean. Install was tough you will need pool noddle or a towel to roll under the front to install properly rear facing. I also notice that small ones head gets pushed forward a bit, simple fix is moving the head piece up one more section. Other than that this seat is fantastic for the price! This seat is getting 4 stars because of the head piece issue and chest clip is huge wish it wasn’t so huge. And install must come with a pool noodle ;) ( Just kidding)

*Simple clean, is machine washable But NOT machine dry. Straps can be removed but NOT washed so use a wash cloth or baby wipes. Do not submerge in water and do not machine wash/dry straps.
    *Very comfy!
    *Simple to adjust!
*Fantastic for 6 months to about 5 yrs.
    *8 year time frame!
*Small and simple to fit in car!
    *Three across!
    *Fantastic price!
*Weight limits are all over the seat so you cannot forget!
    *Fantastic color scale!

    *Hard to install
*Head piece pushes head forward so take time to fit baby right.
    * Chest clip is a bit huge!
*Not excellent seat for newborns! Wait until baby is out of infant seat.
*Locking clips need to be ordered after buying the seat (its free) does not come with seat out of box.

Fantastic baby car seat for air travel!, August 30, 2016

    Verified Hold(What’s this?)
We already have 2 chicco car seats which are fantastic but not a real option for air travel due to size and weight. So, after doing a lot of online research chose on Safety 1st. Could not be more pleased with the choice.
The seat is very light and is FAA standard (I had one steward really question to see the FAA sticker on the side of the seat at the time of boarding). It is very simple to install in a car or in the smooth. In the smooth you can instal it either rear of forward facing. As an advice I would recommend to instal it only as forward facing, this way you can reclined the seat more which will make it more comfortable for the baby, and believe me on a long intercontinental in succession away that all you care about.
Before and after the in succession away you have 2 options, either carry it on your shoulder/ back using one the seat’s straps or buy an additional strap (u can find on amazon) and have the seat strapped to your carryon luggage. Technically u can have the baby in the seat while strapped to the carryon but is honestly close to the ground and I’m not sure how comfortable it would be for the baby (we took the stroller with us).
As a regular car seat I was honestly impressed, considering that is a honestly cheap car seat. We live in the south and it gets really hot in the summertime. The baby likes this seat because he doesn’t heat up as much as he does in the Chicco. The padding is lighter but certainly enough to make it comfortable. The strapping system is not as fancy as in the Chicco and takes a small more effort to adjust everything but overall it does its job.
Hope this assess helps clear some of the questions people have re air travel with a carseat.
